PARKING at Nisei Week

Free Public Parking for Nisei Week is available at any of the following locations. Please note, parking in lots within the immediate Little Tokyo area may result in "NO STREET ACCESS" during the Nisei Week parade on 8/19. This is due to the lot location on the parade route. Please obey all laws and parking attendant instructions at all times.


L.A. County Lots (AVAILABLE 8/18 & 8/19 ONLY)
County Parking Lot #17

City Hall - East (AVAILABLE BOTH WEEKENDS)

Obey the speed limit. 5mph
  1. Follow the signs to Parking Level P-3
  2. Park and lock your vehicle
  3. Follow the arrows to elevator
  4. Proceed to the City Hall East elevator (not escalator) and exit on the 2nd floor
    RETURNING TO YOUR VEHICLE
  1. Go to 200 N Main Street and enter the lobby of City Hall East. Main Street is one block west of Los Angeles Street. You can also reach City Hall East from Los Angeles Street and walk up the stairs to the lobby of City Hall East, on Main Street
  2. Take the elevator to Parking Level P-3
  3. Locate your vehicle
  4. To exit, follow the signs and orange cones
  5. Remember the speed limit is 5mph

Mangrove Lot
1st & Alameda streets (August 19, 25 & 26 only)
VOLUNTEER PARKING ONLY - VALID PARKING PASS ONLY

Volunteer parking is available at Parking Lot #7 (entrance on Aiso Street, between 1st and 2nd streets) and the CalTrans building on Los Angeles Street with a valid parking pass only. The CalTrans volunteer parking is only available on 8/18 - 8/19 until midnight.
